hey this weekend im swaping to leaf springs and i need to make sure that my gears will swap from my 79 dana 44 1/2 ton to my new 3/4ton dana 44 i was told it would then somone told it wont the axle is out of a 76 high boy i may also have a 78 and a79 f250 axle laying out at the farm

If the 76 is low pinion (which it should be), no dice. same size, etc. but a HP is a reverse cut gear. 78-79 axles will be HP.

ok thanks will the axle shafts swap from my highboy axle to the 78 79axle i would think they would
