Hi all. I am needing the lower passenger side seat belt with good plastic for my 92 Bronco. It is Eddie Bauer so the color will be tan. If anyone can point me to one I would appreciate it.

The wife is really complaining about this one.

Thanks again.

Hi. I tried the local JY and no luck. I called the Bronco Graveyard, no luck, but they did give me a number of a place in Arizona. They didn't have any with good plastic. I didn't see it on the LMC website, but I will look again. Thanks.

Looked at LMC and the belts they have don't show the plastic support to keep the buckle upright and easy to use. Which is the reason the wife wants a different one. I am open to other ideas to keep the buckle pointed up.

Just because of the broken plastic piece. Wife is tired of it flopping around. It is out of the truck so that I could take it to the JY and show them what I wanted.

I found some really good ones at the local pick and pull. And....ironically they were tan which is the wrong color for my rig so I spray painted the plastic piece to match my blue interior. Looks good till ya pull the belt out and its tan too LOL! So anyways ifn yas find a place to get em let us know here also.
thanks Much!

Note short tear on passenger sleeve at buckle, and similar tear on driver's. Buckles may need minor repair using these pics:

Yo, Overwrote this due to Comcast lag issues;
For a YARD SEARCH on-line, I use;
http://www.mypartshop.com/
Select All Parts
year, etc, then FORD TRUCK
As you know, not much in MO; but they could pull & ship to your local yard; stipulate that inspection is Required by you and no charge if you decide to pass.

There's also Dennis Carpenter Ford ~ www.dennis-carpenter.com all his products are based on Ford molds and may be pricey......check them out...

I need a "Porno Red" drivers side seat belt, mine is all shredded and frayed from going thru that top loop on the side of the interior panel......so I'll be looking around myself.....it's a real PITA to get it thru the loop sometimes and buckle up....

Good Luck ~ :thumbup

There is a place I recommend to restore belts. I used them and they came out pretty close to new. On the sleeve, they used some type of plastic weld to fix the crack. They fixed the retractors too. If your plastic sleeve is good, re-webbing would be easy. I had 3 belts redone, with a webbing change from red to tan and it cost about $500. Well worth it for me.

In any case, new, used or refurbished, they are getting hard to find, and are getting pretty pricey. But they are a PITA when the sleeve, latch or retractor doesn't work right.

I cut a nice set of them up the other day when I was taking the carpet out of an EB and didn't take torque bits to the yard. Seems like my local place has a couple. I will look on saturday when I am there if you so desire.

I can probibly get it for free since I go there alot, but I will have to charge $0.50 for the time......

bigbrownbear,

Your labor rate is very reasonable. ;)

If you don't care, grab them. I will send you money through paypal to cover shipping costs and some money for your time. Thank you.

I have an eb in the backyard, I can see if I can loosen the torx on the belt tomorrow. Most of the time the torx tool breaks. Ill let you know.
I also have a blue one. No promises but i sold both seat sets on craigslist and the belts only come out sometimes.

I wasn't sure if that's what you were referring to. You used the term "non-restored" so I was looking for "used" :histerica...vs new. Thought maybe JBG, because they sell used stuff. I hadn't surfed Ssnake Oyl's total website alot, so I hadn't seen the new ones. I Googled them and found a few dissatisfied customers, but they did a really nice job on mine. My guess is some of them ordered "driver quality" and expected "show quality".

The nice part about having them restored is that the retractor functions as it should, not hanging in the door jamb.
