Hey everybody. I just purchased a pair of 79 Broncos from another guy here in town. One is a complete truck with a 460 under the hood, and the other one is just sold as a parts truck, but it's mostly complete too.

I've been looking for a 78-79 Bronco for quite awhile now, but I just found this pair last week, and bought them the same day. I am a first time Bronco owner, but a long time Bronco lover. I grew up in my dad's 78 F-100, and ever since then, I've had an obsession with the 78-79 F series trucks and Bronco's.

The Bronco needs a good bit of TLC, but other than apperance, it's a mechanically sound truck. I hope to have it out taking a beating on the trails by mid summer if not sooner. Who knows, if all goes well, maybe it'll be dishing out a little of the punishment.

It must be the style of the times (2 broncos!) everyone seems to have a couple, I guess I better start looking for my second. Welcome and have fun!
Cheers!

Welcome to FSB,

Nice, by far the best drivetrain/body style of any truck of all time, X 2

Thanx for the welcom everybody. I look forward to picking everybodies brains for advice with the truck. Just spent about an hour with a buddy today, trying to get it to run right. Too much old gas in the system, but we're almost there.
