James Duff launched this recently. Who’s gonna be the first to get one?

I like the overall design, but I think if I was going to spend that much on a front bumper I'd try to get something made locally and have it exactly the way I wanted it.

With Bidden and Harris about to possibly win we might want to buy electric bronco motors to replace the engine
I just wonder where we will get the electricity when everyone goes to electric cars. There is not enough wind or sun
Especially when they want to remove all the hydro-electric plants in the Northwest as well

I don't think it is a knock off. I think it is an actual ProtoFab bumper that is sold thru Duff. If you will look at some of their other model bumpers you will see they all favor ProtoFab design. Having Duff sell the bumpers rather than selling direct allows ProtoFab to focus on manufacturing while Duff handles the customer support and sales.

I think it looks decent. While I agree with the buy local so its exactly what you want, I do not really think this one is over-priced. Just what these things cost right now.
The Proto bumper I used to have on my 78 I was happy with, well built and the finish work was nice. I took it off as no longer needed winch and wanted something a bit lighter in weight.

My bumper cost me 1800 to have made... custom one off jobs by a reputable source is not cheep... had something like this been available I would have been miles ahead.

Saw the prototype bumper At supercel. Looks nice. Talked to mike about it. 900 seems high but considering how much my rear bumper cost I don’t think it’s too far out of line. Can I built it for less? Sure, but by the time I source material and consider I’ll have 20 plus hours in it 900 is cheap plus I won’t have to buy 20’ sticks of everything that I’ll only use 8 feet of.
