Well here's my story. I bought my 94 Bronco they day I graduated college. I bought it new. (I don't see a whole lot of 1 owner Broncos on here, but mabye I'm mistaken.) I'd always wanted a Bronco from the first one I'd ever driven which was an '86 that my friend owned that we always took out mudding. So graduation day, that dream came true.

From day 1 I took it into the mud in the College Station area when I'd go back to visit my friends. (I'm a Texas Aggie!). It's been a great truck. As I started to get into hunting, both duck and deer, it's been a reliable piece of equipment for my adventures. My black lab Annie loves the rear bench seat after a long morning of duck hunting.

It's mostly a daily driver, but my hunting adventures have allowed me to use it how it was intended to be used many times.

So as my wife's truck is coming close to being paid off it was time for me to start considering getting a new car. I though about trading her in. I considered getting a jeep, or trading her for a p/u truck. But then I decided to put on a soft top and do some work on her as my "project truck" and keep her "forever".

Once I made that decision, I found this site! WOW! The first night I found the site I did a search on every type of odd problem my Bronco has had over the years and found that 100 other people have had the same problems! For example, last night I replaced the torque pins in my power window motor! It Worked! I'd replaced the entire driver side motor on my own several years ago to the tune of $100 and I'd paid someone to replace the rear motor so being able to use this site to replace the passenger side motor for $3 was AWESOME! Next is greasing the slip yoke in my driveshaft b/c yes, I have the "clunk" that everyone else seems to have had at one time or another.

I've found so much great information that I've started a huge list of all the stuff I either want to fix or modify based on articles I've read here. I had to start a list b/c I found so much stuff I wanted to do I couldn't keep it organzied in my head! Next up are the slip yoke and sixlitre's ignition upgrades. I actually can't wait to do this stuff!

Anyway, i've droned on long enough. Some specifics on my truck then I'll quit typing:

94 Bronco XLT
302
BFG AT 31"
Tranny cooler
Red/Black exterior. Grey leather interior

Everything else stock. Replaced transmission and torque converter at 67K miles.

I'll take some pictures soon, add this info to my sig, and I look forward to being a member of this forum for many years to come!
