Well long time lurker first time poster.

I’m looking in the process of building my 1992 bronco in the Atlanta area.
The plans is a set of 2008 super duty axles and suspension with rear q80 Deavers and some coil overs up front
Then once that’s sorted I’ll start on a coyote swap.
Are there any good coyote swap threads I did a few searches but no luck.

Yo fiveohmatt,
Welcome and good that you stepped out of the shadows!

For the Coyote engine, see "1991 Ford Bronco “Project Fearless”" @ https://mikeshouts.com/1991-ford-bronco-project-fearless/
The internal hot link to My Classic Car is a dud, but I retrieved it @ MyClassicGarage? | Garage - MCG Social?
And one more forward to "Agustin Jimenez wrote about the Bronco on fourwheeler.com. View the original article here:" @ http://www.fourwheeler.com/news/1311-rk-motors-debuts-project-fearless-bronco/

Member djyaz has a "5.0 Coyote Engine in 1980 FSB" with Swap Parts Lists, etc @ https://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/21-noobie-bronco-tech-questions-flame-free-zone/327353-5-0-coyote-engine-1980-fsb.html

Member Hillbilly Heaven wrote "several others. Great source for complete running gear and parts. Since there is no way to make the factory electronics standalone due to built in security you will need the Ford Performance Power Packs for the engine and transmission. Tumblin can help you with that as well.

Transfer Case I would just use the factory transfer case. The only other choices at this time are the Dana 20 from early Broncos or an Atlas transfer case using adapters from Advance Adapters . I am working on developing an adapter for the NP205 case. Busy time of year for me so spare time is short for me. Maybe sometime next summer.

Do a search here for Thread titled "6R80". I created a thread for the doing the 6R80 swap. Some info may not apply since you are also swapping Coyote engine.

Actually doing the complete engine and trans swap maynot be as expensive as doing just the transmission. I haven't priced the Ford Performance Power Packs.

Want to see more Broncos doing this swap. It is a great marriage of old and new. Great way to upgrade drivetrain to modern standards."

Try this search for more, coyote swap site:fullsizebronco.com

For any other Bronco questions or to chat about it's planned modifications or build, it's better to post each seperately in Noobie Bronco Tech Questions. Flame free zone. Please fill out your Bronco Info with year, engine size, transmission type, transfer case type (manual or electric shift), locking hub type (automatic or manual) info & major mods such as a Lift, etc. for better responses.

Thanks for all the info.
I plan on purchasing a running driving donor and using as much as possible for the swap. im worried a little about the rear driveshaft length with the 6r80 transfer case and may have to go to the dana 20 or atlas to get enough rear driveshaft length.

When I got my Bronco, I was looking for either a FSB or a F350 crew cab 4wd long bed. The later would be converted to dually. But I found my FSB first.
:ford
I built a 6.0 dually for towing after I sold the OBS. It tows 100 times better than the old OBS f350 my wife hates the way it looks vs the Obs hence the reason I’m building her the bronco lol.

I was looking for the mid 90's crew cab 350 4wd. That body style is my second favorite truck, after the dents. It's cool the wife wants a FSB! She sounds like a keeper!

Yeah her first truck was an early 90s f150 so this thing is right up her alley, She was so excited to drive it when I got it up and running she was crying with joy literally. I feel like I’m going to get stuck driving her brand new suv often lol.
