I'll be picking up my first bronco at Thanksgiving. It is a crimson and tan 1994 EB edition with 94k miles One owner vehicle. She has a rash area on the roof, and a place where the paint is peeling on the hood, but zero rust issues. The interior is really nice for the year. I'll have to get some work done on the driver seat and mull over paint colors. I'm hoping to take it to the North Ga Mtns for the weekend after that. When we ran upon this truck parked at my dad's neighborhood it really took me and my wife back how good of shape it is for being parked outside.

I don't see many broncos with the navy\tan color scheme but they look REALLY sharp to me. We will eventually get a soft top for it and take it to the beach which is a few hours away.

Nice to see a member near me. I go to Georgia Southern in statesboro but used to live in Jackson county. I’ve gone on a few trails up near dahlonega that were fun. If you ever want a wheeling buddy I’m always looking for one. Just not now as my bronco will be down for a bit, possible zf5 swap and engine rebuild.

I'll get some pics this week. I also need to find a hosting site. Im pretty sure my old photobucket account is inactive. I forgot to add it has the 5.8
You don't need a photo hosting site to post pix here. On mobile just hit the paper clip, choose where you want to go for your picture, click upload, then click insert full image and voila... You've uploaded a picture...

If you're on pc click the landscape picture (first in the second row, for me anyway,) then just drag and drop...

Welcome to the forum... Now get to posting some pictures 😉

I see you figured out pix... Just forgot to hit the "insert... Full image"... That way in future posts you can do pix in line with text, instead of all attachments at the bottom of your post 👍

Know what I mean?...

PS... I dig the red/tan... Also a fan of the navy too 👍

Had a few items checked off the list yesterday. Tag, new wipers, K&N air filter, full size spare tire, ordered new tire cover, oil change, wash (my son and I cleaned the rims really well, and tires afterwards). Going to attempt the 3M headlight restore process soon. Got new seat upholstery coming (is there a color match for the EB tan?), and my first paint estimate on the way. I got a new clock spring to get installed this week as well.

I probably will. “Build” is probably a strong word.
Any advice for sound? Do most folks go ahead and replace the sound system and head unit ? Mine is the original, and the speakers sound shot

I replaced my head unit and front speakers. The rear were still good and I was adding an amp and a box speaker so it didn't really matter to me to replace them at that time. Had to cut the plastic a bit in the bezel but the radio came with multiple faceplates... Altho if you got the ching their making updated "stock" replica replacement radios with Bluetooth and all the modern crap...

And "build" really is just a technical term... It honestly encompasses all resto/mod work. Hell there's no real building in my build thread just lots of "improvements" 😊

Thanks. A guy that goes to our gym that I see found one sitting (older model than mine) and got it for $500 bucks. Didn't run. Said he pulled some fuses and replaced them and it cranked right up.

He is pretty mechanically handy, so I'm gonna use him as needed. Clock spring replacement goes in next week.

I saw something about radio cutting out and it was a bad fuse somewhere.... mine does that. I can't remember where I read that ?

Dang. Now I'm going to grab a handful of fuses and make the Dallas rounds of 'ran when parked' options until I find one. Of course in Dallas, people think their dead Broncos are worth about 10 to 20 times that $500 price tag.

Radio goes in Tuesday. Had to jump on it. Not many head units available when I looked at Crutchfield and others. Going with Kickers in the front and mid for now. No subs yet. Should VASTLY improve what Im working with and give me bluetooth.

New tunes are IN. JVC head with Kicker speakers. Clock spring is fixed so that pesky airbag light can stop telling me code 32. Horn works now, and I think that should fix the cruise control.

Auto interior place just called and is having trouble matching the seats. Any ideas on what color the tan interior was called on the EB edition?

New key fobs came in last night and I tried to program them but never got a response from the grey connector that the car was ready to program. Just nothing. RKE unit dead? Fuse issue?
