ok so my 88 started up fine a few months ago, but when worm it starts to buck then die. now it will not start at all, i replaced all the ignition and replaced the distributor internals. i think the timing got missed up, i forgot to mark the distributor when i bulled it. i got it at top dead center and everything and i still cant get it to start. so what do you guys think it could be thanks

Do you have spark? That is the first place to look... Next is this writeup to line up your distributor: How to properly set the timing by sackmann9975

Does your tachometer jump up when you turn the ignition?

Do you have a timing light or a way to tell if you're getting spark out of the coil?

thanks for all the help guys, i will try that timing procedure and let ya know how it goes.
