Hello! My 95 Bronco 351 is having an interesting day! When I started her up this morning the fuel pump started whining/humming , the tone of the whining/humming changes if you say roll up the electric window, turn on the lights etc. Well, the truck runs normally so I continued to run my errands, after my last stop I noticed the volt guage was reading very low, the needle sits on the N on NORMAL. Do I have two seperate problems here that decided to happen on the same day or could the fuel pump noise and alternator problem be related? Thanks!!

I would say your fuel pump sounds different cause of the voltage change/drop.

get that alternator and battery tested. battery should show right around 12 volts with engine off. when engine running you should see between 13.8-14.5 volts. just grab a multimeter and check it out.
