My washer fluid motor quit working a while back. It was working until I removed the tank to do something in the area. Last weekend, I finally had a chance to remove the tank again and see what was going on. The first thing I did was remove the tank.
Then I used compressed air to make sure the washer fluid lines weren't clogged. Both lines were good.
Then I tested the wiring harness for voltage. I got voltage.
Next, I drained the coolant overflow and washer fluid tanks. I then removed the washer fluid motor. I hooked the motor up to the harness, making sure it was securely connected. It worked!!!
I looked in the bottom of the tank and saw lots of crystallized washer fluid. I rinsed out the tank with some hot water, installed the motor, and reinstalled the assembly back in the Bronco.
Now everything works!!!
