Im not a newbe, just a lerker(sp) that can't come out and play. :twak Im just about to retire the 87 and put the 79 on the road, eazyest way to fix the bent frame and go solid at the same time!!!:beer just need to come up with the bling to transfer tags and good parts.
It just was the right thing to do, for the cost of the trans that is starting to go in the 87 i got a really nice 79 that was well taken care of(paint ,body parts, new 351)just need to switch the 33's to it, the stock tires are way to small. The 87 has frame damage, bad trans and the motor knocks when ya start it, rust coming back etc,etc only choice to make.

I've done a lot of hiking and back country skiing off of 93 / 16 / 302 in NH, and some in Maine.
I'm looking for trailheads that are more remote. Most of the dirt roads I know in NH are gated off in the winter.
Are there any roads that are suitable for a winter trip? Maybe...
