So once again I have changed my mind on what I am doing with the tranny situation.

What better time to go manual I am thinking,
I have most of my research accomplished but one question that I still can't answer is this.

What size flywheel does a np435 need to mate up to my 302? Can I just use a flywheel for a 302 or what is the deal here.

Of course that is assuming that it is a 435 versus a t18. I'm hoping for 435 for ease of swap but knowing my luck it will be the t18.

But anyway I need some help with that flywheel deal.

I recently swapped a np435 into my '89 with a 351. It was 100% bolt in, you just need to get everything from the donor truck, pedals (87-91), and transmission mainly. Buy the clutch kit and clutch master, slave cylinder, clutch hose, and flywheel new at a parts store. Just ask for a flywheel for the same year with a 302, all manual transmissions, carb or efi use the same flywheel.
