here are some pics I took of my OBA. The compressor came out of an AMC Eagle I don't know the year. I ran the compressor straight to the tank that way most of the fittings would not be under the hood. I like my digital camera :thumbup

SWEEEEEEET! NOW THATS A COOL SETUP!!!! :brownbag
What did you do about your YORK clutch? The kit is not meant for those monster pulleys that were on some AMC's.
Where can I get one of those power steering pulleys that fit both the serpentine and the v belt?

I like Bronco Air's setup but I think $215 is a little steep for a couple pieces of steel welded together and a pulley.

Thanks

I didn't think it would hurt anything. I didn't like how close it came to the brake lines. I realy got close when you torqued the motor. :shocked The Auto Craft shop here on post has an old lathe. I chucked it up and turned it down to match the inside pully. :rockon
Also thanks.

Brother let me tell,
It is NOT just a couple of pieces of steel welded together and a pully. :goodfinge
The bracket is made out of aluminum and looks like it is a tig weld job. :thumbup a work of art (hahaha). It has been designed to mount on top of the A/C compressor. Also comes with all the hardware to mount it. The pully looks like has been turned out of a solid piece of aluminum, So it is balanced.
The whole thing is put together well. Sure, you could spend hours putting one together and getting all the hardware. By the time you found everything and did hours trying to fit things together you would be in the hole in time and effort. Also, you better hope you have that pully done right when the engine starts to turn and your going down the road. :banghead :cry
Do yourself a favor and get the kit from Bronco Air, or anyone who sells his products. :rockon

just click on the THREAD TOOLS button above the first post. Theres a Subscibe to thread button in there..
You are right about the pulley (which is why I asked about it) but the bracket is more bling bling than I need. Plus I like making what I can.

BTW, sweet setup.

Under hard use, that yellow air hose will soften and blow a hole from the heat. BTDT. I eventually switched to all pre-made hydraulic hoses/fittings.
