my speedo crapped out and stays at zero always never moves the slightest? what coul dhave caused this? just the gear in the trans of is ther something simpler?

What about your trans.....how is it shifting?

IIRC the speedo on the 94 gets its signal from the VSS in the top of the rear diff.....just for the heck of it, you could pull it out and clean it up a bit and see if thats the problem.....its only one bolt. You could also check for codes.

If not I would start looking at the PSOM.

VSS on the rear diff is your problem spot. If you had the E4OD it wouldn't be shifting right now.

he did say "IF" you had a E4OD it would be shifting bad. but since he has a manual the driver controls the shifting. check the sending unit as well as any wiring between it and the cab.
