I was just in NAPA and came across an assortment of oil leak additives. All of them claim that they put a stop to oil leaks. I was wondering what do any of you think about the claims that these fluids can "slow or stop" a leaky engine. Many of the offered guarantees to boot! I am just curious

all they do is swell the seals/gaskets .... fix it right and replace those instead :shrug

Oil Additives

What's your thought on the LUCAS oil additives???? They seem to have a loyal following in the race car world and a long standing reputation for addressing tranny and steering pump leaks!
