I have a 351w block I am building up and have nothing to compare the pickup tube install to. Where the pickup tube bolts onto the #3 main bearing cap stud, is there one nut that locks the tube up against the bottom of the bearing cap, or is there a nut on top and then on bottom of the tube bracket so that you can set the depth of the inlet screen. I have been trying to find something that shows this, and all I can find is instructions that say to remove the nut holding the tube to the bearing cap stud. Nothing that says what depth to set the inlet at. I am using a stock pan and stock oil pump and pickup tube.

I have always just seen the stud, then the pickup tube bracket and then a nut. Never seen an additional nut under the pickup tube bracket.
