Hey Quick Just finished my 351 swap on my 95 a couple weeks ago and the fake oil gauge is driving me nuts (atleast I know I have some lol) anyway I've read that you can convert the stock gauge to the real one pretty easy and I like that option better then adding aftermarket gauges so my questions are.

1 does anybody have any part number or the proper vehicle to ask for for the new sending unit at the parts store?

2 anybody got a pic of the register I need to eliminate on the cluster? I believe just solder a piece of wire in its place right?

3 anybody know what the scale is once it's done? As in how many psi is the r of normal and how many is max and ofcourse none is none Lol.

Anyway if anybody has done this mod amd has that info I'd really appreciate I . .

Just put a proper mechanical gauge in. The resistor mod still doesn't make it read quite right
