I am currently undertaking a complete engine rebuild of the stock 351w out of my 84. I just finished putting the pistons in this weekend, Kieth Black Hypers, with no hiccups I might add :toothless Anyway I went to install the oil pump this afternoon, but found that there are no torque specs for it in the Haynes manual, that I could find anyways.

I did search the forums and couldn't find any specifics. If anyone could tell me the specs for the pump to block, as well as the pickup tube to pump that would be greatly appreciated. I will post some pictures of my progress possibly later on tonight, if I have some time.

Thanks in advance

OP mounting bolts is 20-25 ft lbs. Pickup tube to pump bolts is 12-15 ft lbs.
That is for new bolts with lightly oiled threads.
The round washer thingy on the pump shaft goes toward the distributor.
After installing the pump Ass'y, make sure that bottom of your screen is positioned 3/8" off the floor of the pan before buttoning it all up.....no more, no less.
