Has anybody ever installed Oh Sh*t handles before on the passenger side or even drivers side for that matter? My 93 bronco doesn't have any of them.

None of our trucks had em from the factory.
I kinda figured that...
I would like to see where people have mounted them in good spots. In my buddy's 87 F-250, we had one on the A pillar but the vent window couldn't be opened with the door closed. I'm gonna look into this one now.
I plan on putting one0 just above the door. wife was complaining on the last trip.
I too have been meaning to visit a pull-it yard and try to find a donor handle for a passenger handle. I think it is the newest Explorer that has a handle in the windshield pillar and above the door. I also thought of using old seat belt webbing to make a soft loop to grab while getting in/out. I would interested to hear if anyone has used another vehicles handles.
I think Blaze has.... :shrug

I installed a pair right above the top of the door trim. Same as on the passenger side..

That looks nice, where did you get the handles from? How secure are they? Did you just use sheet metal screws to install?

Can't see too well from the pics, but I have them mounted to both a-pillars and one on the headliner above the passenger door. They came out of an early 90's taurus. For the a-pillar mounted handles I had to make a couple of brackets and weld in behind the trim so I would have something solid to mount them to

Nice overhead console. The handles look like a clean install too. :thumbup

Thanks, when I find my digital camera I will get better pics of them
Good idea. That or the dash... on the metal ones are about the best place to mount it, unless you have a cage.
u dont need oh shit handles...they are for girly men. when ur going into a roll or so off camber that u could fall out the window, just raise ur arms over ur head like on a rollercoster and trust the seatbelts :brownbag :toothless . if ur wheeling without seat belts....ur an asshat :goodfinge
See my handle off of a ford superduty on the passenger side pillar, superford link in the signature line

You are correct...Exploder handle, and only had to drill one hole to mount it...:thumbup (although it's gotta come out soon for the cage..:brownbag)
Here's a shot...my new model interior light is in the forground and the handles in the back ground..:rockon

What you do is take out one screw from the trim piece, and screw it through the handle back into it's hole...then you use the other hole as a template to drill your other hole (watch it closely, cause you could "not hit the meat" of the shell...very easy as long as you are aware of this...when you do it you will see what I mean) then just use one of the screws that came with the handle and fasten it down...that handle cost me 5 bux at "the yard" and it was the correct color! :thumbup
(There was actualy two handles for 5 bux, but I gave one to Oscar so he could do it to his rig....hey, I wonder if he ever did that???)

Mine is nut and bolted through the pinch weld with 4 1/4 20 Grade eight bolts

Had to cut away a good section of the plastic A pillar molding but I Like it. Also can't use the vent window, but I don't sit over there anyhow. That's the female seat
