Don't know how much like my '75 F150's like you guys' Dent-Broncos are. :/
You got the foot~long spring on the clutch lever going to the frame installed? :)

ps- Bump. ;)
pps- I don't have the under-dash spring on my '75 anymore, it wore through
the plastic anti-squeak parts on its ends, decades ago! LOL :) Thought about
reinstalling it using copper tubing (or something like that) as a replacement for
the plastic parts but just never got-round-to-it. ;)
ppps- 360FE + T18

If you are talking about the spring up by the pedal fulcrum I think you need it to be there. Without it I don't know how you would keep the throwout bearing off the pressure plate and wearing out quickly.

Hmmm...
Maybe it's because you guys' stuff is different than my '75 but...
The last two posts both sound ass-backwards to me. :)

I guess my post wasn't very clear, sorry about that. I was trying to find out which spring he removed. There should be two springs, one on the pedal/pedal bracket and one on the frame/fork.
