Hey guys I just converted my steering to an over the knuckle system.
My question is,since the steering rods are so much higher now the drag link and the track bar are not parallel any more.
I am running a dropped pitman arm and a drop bracket on the track bar.
Should I go back to a stock pitman arm or remove the drop bracket on the track bar to realign my steering??
Thanks
Slim

i'd say to remove them only one at a time to see which combo brings the "rods" as close to paralel as you can.

lol, thats funny. i was looking at pics of my rig as it sits and was thinking the same thing. i may keep the dropped tracbar bracket but i am for sure going to have to lose the dropped pitman arm. and i really dont think thats going to do what needs done. i could run the drag link to the stock steering knuckle mount, but that defeats the high steer. heres my D44. my D60 is going to use the same trac bar location. the drag link will goto the top of the knuckle so you see its going to need some work...plus i think im going to lose quad shocks, at least in the factory location.
