got a prob with the rpm's goin through the roof when the engine switches into overdrive. It runs fine in regular D but eats up fuel on the highway. Checked for vacumn line leaks and also the fluid is full (haha). Any advice would be great thx

Sounds like the tranny is downshifting into passing gear instead of Overdrive. Not too familiar with the AOD's, but maybe check the kickdown cable and the linkage to see if it's not loose or kinked. Other than that, I'm in the dark.
