On the E4OD, there is a little button on the shifter that allows you to turn the overdrive off. I was wondering what it was like so i hit the button to see the difference. The little "off" lit up orange so i figured it was working. After i drove it for a while, i couldnt tell a difference. What is it supposed to be like to drive it without OD?? is my OD off switch working properly? if not, what may be a common problem i can fix?

OD is a 4th gear (of sorts) that acts as a cruising gear. If you're on the highway doing 60 or so, hit it. Your RPMs will jump up to around 3k.

In town it's not noticeable.

Here you go.

so, when i get on the interstate, i could hit the button, and it will allow my rpm's to go higher?
yes, RPM's will incr.
But, you'll lose gas mileage.

Operating in the Overdrive “OFF” mode gives more engine braking than Overdrive and is useful for descending hills or when towing.
