I got this idea from Allan (88mule) and Dan (Manny)

Painted the faded gray part of my grill black.

Taping it up took about 2 hours, but I think it was worth it :thumbup

I think it highlights the chrome better and is how Ford should have done it to begin with. :thumbup

But incase I didn't like it, I bought a replacement before painting it. :toothless

On a side note I'm gonna have to do some touch-up. The storms that have been hittin the PNW are gettin there via my driveway. The constant rain/sleet/hail has taken a toll on the new paint job.

I like it. If yours was the argent grey like the 92-96 grilles I would have said leave it. But it looks much better now.
