Hello all!

I am new, and the proud owner of a 96 5.8L Bronco as of today!

First I wanted to say their is a mass amount of info located here, I have already found out that my Bronco has the 3.55 LSD rear.

I was looking for pics of the underside of a stock bronco (I was unable to find through search, maybe my key words were wrong). The reason I ask is because My Bronco has 33" tires fitted with no rubbing at all. And from what everyone says, you need a lift to fit 33"....

I did look under the back and it looks like it may have at least a 1" block between the leaf spring and the mounting point to the shaft. But I cannot tell in the front..... any clues on what to look for?

Here is my new aaddition!

You don't need a lift to run 33's. Mine only rubbed when turning sharp while backing.

That block in between the leafs and the axle is factory. It should be about an 1" in thickness.

Yup, there is a wedge shaped block that is factory. You can fit 33's stock, but most people do some minor trimming on the front bumper. You notice any trimming?

Thanks for all the info. I didn't see any trimming....

I guess I was wrong or misread the info, I thought you had to have the lift to fit those tires....Oh well, just means I can go right to the 6" lift that I want!

Oh... and no rubbing at all.
