Any ideas please. Came back from a hunting trip a few weeks ago were i did some moderate 4x4n. On the way home notice that when i pulled into a parking space or turned the steering wheel all the way the front end would bind. I have just replaced the shocks and see no obvious damage underneath.Had a mechanic check out the whole truck two months ago when I bought it and the ball joints were ok. any ideas before I take it back in to a shop.

sounds like your hubs may not have unlocked :shrug

what do you mean your front end "binds"? what is binding, steering, tires stop turning?

Sounds like the axle joints have gone bad. With it in 2wd, and parked, get yourself a small prybar, and give it a 'wiggle'. If they're worn, you'll clearly see it

pull the hubs off, and be prepared to have all new bearings and races installed... inner and outer bearings, as well as spindle bearings, and possibly, the hubs

whole brake system just redone two months ago. I just bought the truck and im trying to fix all the maintance problems ignored by the last guy.

Sounds to me like yer still in 4x. Like they said above^^.

Some new hubs will help you out.
