I searched this but didn't get a return on it. Some times when I stop at a light then take off again there is a hard bang coming from the rear of truck. Sometimes when I stop quickly and sit there a few seconds later the truck bangs again. Not even moving. The convertor also lock and unlocks alot while driven at a steady speed. Truck has 204000 miles with nothing done to it. Any help would be great. Thanks guys Mark:rockon Its a E4OD tranny.

- also called OD on/off LED switch @ end of tranny shifter stalk

Is Amber ABS light on all the time?
Same for CEL?

Dont know about your possible tranny problem but you might look into greasing your slip joint for the thud when taking off. I just did mine the other day and it made a world of difference. Just search grease slip joint. There is a great write up with pics. Easy fix
