CUCV 'truck butt', complete with a strange story of genesis. Haven't towed it with the Blanc-Oh! yet. Need to make a lunette coupler for it to be able to do so. It's been to Baja and Central Oregon, and a lot of places in between. Tested stable to 95 mph (in Baja, not by me!).

Yeah, it's the best riding trailer I've had. Having suspension with real shocks is awesome. I swapped out the springs on mine to give more lift and weight capacity because my 33s were getting cut up on the wheel wells when wallowing over really rough dirt roads. On the freeway I've had it up to 85mph or so since that is the speed limit here. Not with my Bronco since but with my other tow rig with a 20+ year newer motor, OD, etc.

One thing I that makes me happy about my truck butt, is I got personalized plates for it.

Same here, trailer tacks sure and smooth no matter how it's loaded. Spring are stock to the I-H 3/4t frame (TOLD you there was a story there), but it does have some then brand new shocks that my partner had laying around. That isn't a D60 or 14bff under it. it's the outers of an old square spline D60 welded into a tube and filled with 3 gallons of gear lube. We call it the "Cheep Trailer" because in total we have about $250 in it. Most of that was the new Timken wheel bearings and CR seals. Even the 3 Goodyear radials were donations from my mother's Class B after they took a nail in one tire.

We set it up to be borrow-able and put an RV 7 contact light socket in the side of the tongue. That keeps the trailer light connector out of the weather. The way it works is that all of the bits to hook it up are in a locked box on the tongue. See the receiver tube on the tongue? Preventing theft means that even the coupler is normally locked in the tongue box. Knowing that combo means that you can borrow it. If the electrical jumper needed to connect to whatever tow rig isn't in the tongue box then the price of borrowing it is to make up that jumper and leave it in the box when done. It's been borrowed by quite a few people, and all have commented on how nicely it tows.

Rented a 45' towable lift to cut down some trees. What's in the pic on the right is what's left of an old 65-70' Maple.

I also dead-wooded this 65-70' Catalpa Mrs. Willis also wanted cut down. I think it's beautiful, so it's staying. It was more beautiful before I took out one of the limbs on the left with a Maple limb
