I have a feeling this guy could draw on you with an unloaded gun and still come out the winner.
Like my dear old Grandma used to say: "That's phucked up"

Was digging around this evening and ran across this gem from the Wayne assembly plant where all the old jalopies that have brought us all together got built:

This one ended up in my YouTube feed. Reminded me of a young @schwim ... albeit, probably a little more fem. I skipped through the vid but pretty funny, cool little project.

I take offense to that. I'll have you know that I am shockingly feminine.

I love that guy. I've seen a couple people build those in the past. I tend to stick to static VW art. This was made from the decklid from my '59:

I've got to be careful. Too many VW art projects and I'll run out of car.

Oh... well, my apologies. Should I start to refer to you as Mrs. Schwim then? ;)
Cool little project you've got there above the bed. That's some VW dedication right there.
You were the first thing to pop into my head when I checked it out, so I had to share.

I went down a small youtube rabbit hole on those Redline Rebuild time lapses. They did quite a few of them and they're all pretty awesome. I'm not sure if it was on this 289 build or one of the others, but on one of them it said the time lapse was something like 3 months of work and 40,000 pictures.

Rest in Peace, Harold. He was the bass singer in the Statler Brothers.
