have a power question..blew the tip off of my injector on my 88 with 5.8..had a miss found the injector bad...replace injector and all 8 spark plugs with autolite 24. took champion out i have less power now than i did before ...even when it was missing it had more power only differ is the plugs...do i need to go with a differ plug

I'd go with motorcraft plugs.
Did you check your timing after you changed the plugs?
Did you make sure you didnt cross and of the plug wires and put them in the incorrect plug?
Is the Plug wires just randomly crossing over each other? I know that if the plug wires and bunched together the magnetic fields around them cancel out each other and cause less spark as well.
You might have issues as well with the other injectors, Did you test the other ones to make sure they are in good working order?

Are the plugs gap correctly? IIRC its .042-.048
