I saw this website that had a buy 3 get 1 free deal on Pro Comp tires. Does anybody have any experience with the Pro Comp Mud Terrains on and off road? Also, what kind of street mileage did you get out of them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THEY SUCK!

i had a set of buckshots and mud terrains

everytime i got in any kind of mud they sliked over and i lost all traction, they dont clean out at high revs like they should, theyre cheap for a reason, they dont work well off road, great on the street but suck off road

Don't know about the mud terrains but the all terrains is one of my favorite tires. I know a few guys running the MT's on Jeeps and they like them. Teh tread looks like it would work as well as any BFG MT or simmilar tire.

I bought my mud terrains used and they were worth what I paid. They wear fast but they hook up better on slick pavement than other mud terrains I've had

I've had the AT,MT & the XT had problems with all 3 they're just cheap. If you don't wheel alot the MT works fine on the street the lugs are even full siped for rain. The problems are numerous-they don't like to stay balanced either. It reminds me of the problems Dick Cepek used to have with tires.

My dad had them on his chevy, my 3 year old off brand tire outlasted his new pro comp m/t's. They are just a very soft tire, they are pretty quiet on the street and the mud cleans pretty well out of them. You would probably have to rotate and balance them very often.

Ive never been impressed by the procomp tires. I know someone that tore a hole in the sidewall of an AT by barely rubbing the side of the rock. Several other trucks did the same thing that day with no damage.

I say spend the money on a tire you know is good like a BFG, or get one of the cheep-o tires for WAY less then Procomp

You think ProComp's have thin sidewalls take a look at those BFG's.

i've been selling procomp tires for the last 3 years. heck we were their 3rd largest account. we sold more procomps than 4wheel parts. unfortunately i lost my job yesterday soooo.....

they're a good tire. they are NOT BFG's or TOYO's. you want mileage, get a set of open country m/t's. those things are sick. I got one buddy in cali who runs zuk's a set of the pro comp xtreme mud terrain tires when they first came out and 2 of the 4 tires bubbled and another ones tread came off.

AND they've had a few recalls last couple of months. watch out for the so called buy 3 promotions. THIS month though it IS valid by pro comp so the tires are going to be cheaper NOW than ever. word of advice, don't buy them over the internet JUST in case something happens. 90% of online stores charge you to ship the tires back if anything happens to them.....

Yep, shouldn't have lost my job....

Well ProComp has a deal with 4WP, they always have the biggest ads in the magazine and the most floor space in the show room. I think the buy 3 get one free is more of a 4WP thing.
