Auto hub lockouts are dangerous. They have the tendency to stop working when you need them to and there is never any positive engagement when you are out on the trail. As for brand pretty much any brand of hub lockouts will work just fine in place of the autos, so donn't have your heart set on warns because of the name. For the longest time I had Superwinch premimums on my truck and switched to warn premiums because I got them for cheap. To be honest I liked the superwinches much better.

I second you on the Superwinch hubs....I really liked the set I used to have on my '68. Better than the Warn premiums I have now in my opinion.
