I've got the thing dangling and laying against the seat, but it won't come out?

I've got the bolt out of the band clamp at the firewal, inside vehicle. I've got the bolt out of the steering knuckle. Do I need to pry and seperate that knuckle a little? hesitant to do it.

Any advice? :thumbup

Should be two bolt on the aluminum bracket under the dash board, seven( I think, might be five) bolt that secure the plate at the base of the steering column to the firewall, and two wiring harnesses to disconnect( ignition switch and turn signal/cruise control) at which point it should come right out. You might what to remove the steering shaft before you pull it out.

I got the ignition switches disconnected and the columns loose like a tooth. Dash is completely out, gutted, so I know that's not holding it.

I think I need to get the bolts around the plate at the base of the firewall. I didn't pull away the rubber mat to see what's behind it, I thought it was just the band looking clamp there.
