Im in the process of changing out my steering box. In the process of removing pitman arm off of the box I got from JY alot of the fluid leaked out of the box. Also alot of fluid leaked out the lines when removed my old box. My questions is when I put the "new" box in and rehook the lines, can I just add fluid (ATF) to the reservoir? Will this get into the new steering box and fill it up? I want to get the air out.
thanks

yep thats how you do it, and also letting idle for a few minutes and keeping the level where it should be. And after a few minutes start turning the wheel back and forth without hitting the stops if possible.

Agreed with clifton, and the air will work itself out. Hope the arm comes off easy for you.

Got the arm off but it took some hammering and pb blasting. Thanks for replies. Glad to know it will prime itself with steering and running.
