found a 79 in my area for sale, 1900 dollars, its has 15000 on new 400ci and new tires...
was wondering what info i could get on these trucks, ive had a 93 and recently purchased an 86 im trying to get running..always wanted a 78 or 79

what kinda gearing and how good are the axles on the stockers

It looks not bad. 3.50 gears were stock & fitted on most. Other ratios were available. The axles are great. Beefy 1/2 tons.
