what yrs did they put the independent suspension on f250? i wanna get a diesel with a solid axle like 93 or newer....

all f250's after 80 had IFS, you would have to wait until they came out with the revised body in '99 the actual Superduty's to get a solid D50

We have a few 92-97 f-350s at work with solid front axle's.

i was reading and it says they went back to solid axles in 97 the last yr of the 93-97 body style... aren't they d60 not d50? i wanna do liek an 8 inch susp lift adn you can;t unless its solid axle...

If you want the D60 in the '92-'97 bodystyle, just buy the F350, none of the F250's from those years came with a solid axle, (not even the '97). My '94 F250 had the D50 TTB, so I had to swap the axle out with an F350 front axle assembly to get the "monobeam" D60.

Did the early superduties have solids? The dealer changed ones in the 92-98 style. I know some that were modfied had a goofy 60 or somethin that was a PITA to get steering parts for
