i was getting ready to look in to timing it and i went to disconnect the spout, and it was very corroded and frayed, im wondering if i am in base timing would that give me a stumble or a miss under load?

Yeah, it could. Check your timing, that'll be the dead giveaway. If it's letting the EEC advance the timing, you'll see it bouncing around from around 20*.

I think FG sells replacement pieces, or you could just cut it off and replace with a quick disconnect.

i was thinking about just a toggle switch for it any way
ill look in to timing tommrow

if you use a toggle, be sure to get something that is waterproof or it will corrode.

werd, also if i toggle it would i run just the one wire to the switch and be done with it?:scratchhe
