bought the heavy duty cooling radiator for my 91 bronco 5.0 eddie bauer xlt.
its definatly bigger than the one that came off which is cool.

-thing is: everything fits right but the trans cooler lines dont fit the radiator. the new radiator with "heavy duty cooling" came with these fittings but they dont even fit the in or out on the radiator. not sure if i need:
-new trans cooler line assembly?
-not sure of the size of the t.c.l. fittings?
-is it possible to do this upgrade?
-is it better to just get a seperate trans cooler?
-is it hard to run the seperate cooler?

Sounds like they packed the wrong fittings with the radiator. You'll probably need to get the right ones from your local auto parts store. Hopefully, if you bought it locally, the same store will help you out with it with little to no charge (it'd be the decent thing to do IMHO). Usually, there are pipe threads going into the radiator/oil cooler, and the lines are tube nuts with the line flared at the end. I would try to get some sort of dimensions before going to look for fittings, just to save some time and guesswork.
