So the other day i started with tearing the 60 down here is the breakdown of the hub for those who don't know how to

First take the hub allen bolts out

Be careful not to let this SONOFA B shoot across your garage as you take the hub off

Take out the snap ring (you can see that it is at just about midnight)

here it is started. i used a small flathead

and its out

And as you can see i have the allen bolts in and the screw out just pull and it comes right out

next it will look like this and you will need the correct hub socket depeneding on your axle.

this was what i used for mine

the first hub nut

Behind the hub nut is this washer that locks into the next hub nut

youll need this again

and you will get this hub nut. it has a nub on it to hold the washer. Don't break the nub

said nub

now take off your caliper so you can get the rotor off. Then if yours was like mine your bearing will fallout and you can pull the whole rotor off and you will be left with your spindle

here are all the parts i took out and numbered

here is the axle now with both sides removed and spindles exposed

What is the plan for radius arms? Or are you going to 4 link it? I have an equivalent axle and welded on wedges for 73-79 radius arms.

truck can't be down for more than a day or two. Its my only vehicle. Also, Its been picked apart for the last few years so, i don't have to worry about all the small stuff. i can take out the ttb on a friday night, put in the kit in 6-8 hrs per boulderbroncos estimated time, and make any call i get to go fight fires. You pay for convienience of doing it in a day and back on the road or the trail.

i will be running a stop watch to document how long it takes me to put the kit on.
