I have a 91 bronco however it has a CV yoke that seems to only be for 92-96 broncos. Did 91's have these also, or did the PO change something?

Yeah, mine has the ball that sits in the yoke between two u joints. I don't think that's normal for a 91 is it?

If it is normal, how come whenever I look up the part pictured in my first post, it says 92-96

My '89 has the similar setup (factory). I didn't check to see if the u-joints differ on the newer vs older one.

Propwash, may not be the case but previous owner could have changed something.

Case in point...

I know when I bought a reman transfer case for my '88 it came from an '89 which was allegedly compatible. The '89 had a different yoke so I had to redo my driveshaft. The driveshaft shop built a stronger driveshaft so my Bronco now has a super duty drive shaft which means it uses bigger U Joints. So if the PO did switch something out pay special attention to part numbers when replacing things.
