Rear View Mirror Connector

I'm assuming that this connector is the same for all fords and If I find this 3 pin connector in a Junk yard I can clip it off and splice it into my harness? One of hte previous owners had sniped it. I'd Like to wire it back in.

Doesn't appear to be a common conn; I went thru a few Ford pig tail/ connector sites and its a no go; (PICO) and Ford http://www.p71interceptor.com/motorcraftpigtails/Wiring_Pigtails_Catalog.pdf

I've yet to come across the 3 pin Gentex connector in the junkyard. I can find 5, 7, and 16 all day long, but not the 3.

I've actually installed a Gentex 177 in the Bronco that uses the 7 pin connector but one of these days I'm going to try cutting down a 5 or 7 pin connector to 3 to see if I can get the Bronco-correct autodimming mirror to work.

In case you don't already have it, looking at your picture, from L to R, it is 12v (key on), ground, reverse indicator.

yep; figures, huh? But that listing gives a clue as to what Fords/years have em; so a yard search will help

Select Ford Truck
& since they don't list mirror, rearview or electroc... I usually select Power Window Motor to bypass XL models (like mine)

Found a Rear view mirror Connector today on a 90 TBird.
Also can across a door Light bexel off of a 94 F350.
Paid 2 Bucks for them both.
