What rearends can go under a bronco with the abs sensor. Can you put a 8.8 form a 03 f-150 they look the same. What can someone use under their abs trucks.
8.8 on a 03 F150? I am pretty sure in 99 they all got 9 3/4's. Maybe the 2wd's still have the 8.8's. And i think the spring pads are different widths. The drum brakes are different too. I would try to get one from your generation, be so much easier.
if you can, save the money and just beef up your 8.8... if not, go for the 9 :thumbup
but like s.d. said, i would stick to your kind, as it would be a correct fit (96 to 03 is a world of difference) and everything would match up well. good luck.........
the new 9.25 are used behind the 5.4L motor or other special packages. as for the rear end of a 03' fitting under a bronco...i dont know but what i do know is the bolt pattern for the wheels are different. also the spring perches might be in different places and they are for 2.5" wide springs.
Yeah dude. Don't screw around with another 8.8 or 9". They are both fairly strong axles. There is no reason to swap in a 9" over an 8.8". Go with a 10.25". They are way stronger and ane easy bolt in.
