I changeds my tranny filter last month due to a leaky pan gasket. There was more black sludge than I have ever seen in any tranny I have ever done. Now this week ,my tranny started slipping up to 2k rpm then bangs hard into gear. Had to rebuild my FMX when the same thing happend before on my cougar. I can have a shop do my C6 for around $1k I don't have , or I can buy a aod with about 50k miles for $100 here in Houston. It only has to last until february when I can afford the C6 to be fixed. My question is will the AOD be a direct swap with my transfer case and linkages? I need to get the gashog back on the road.
