I got the chance to wheel more in last year than I ever have and as many of us know, that just makes the addiction worse.So I have decided to redo several things on my green machine.
I started with a little trip to MD to pick up the donor.(Thanks Bmc69!!)

Lo and behold... look what that old man left in the back of the truck!! I swear he is getting senile!:doh0715::thumbup

I've been running a newer model 60 front for a few years now, but I've always wanted a 79 KP front.CAn't wait to go full hydro and Hi-steer.

Hey!!..I wondered where that 60 went to. Yr just lucky I couldn't get myself high enough with my walker to peer over the edge of that truck bed..:toothless

You got that pile of hydroboost junk I gave ya figured out yet?:thumbup..or some decent HD pushrods for that 460? I think I still have the box of 's-shaped' ones that came out of it..if you need any of those.:goodfinge

Also the old stock 400 was a bit anemic for my tastes at times. So its time to upgrade under the hood to. The donor truck was a mud bogger so she had a healthy 460 under the hood. No bling here just thump!!

The big block was mated to a c6. Which suited my needs also.My muscular dystrophy is making it increasingly difficult to manage the stiff clutch on my 4 speed.

HaHa!! I knew better than to mention it to ya while I was still in MD :histerica
Obviously the way Filly was slinging parts around she would have had no problem picking you up high enough to see over in the bed.
I've been studying the hydroboost stuff, not 100 % on it but getting there. I'm sure your phone will be ringing when I get to that step.:doh0715:

Nice dude. I bet that was one beautiful truck in its day. I like that color
scheme. Nice Yukons too. Why not longfields arent they cheaper and suppose
to be stronger?

:cry..it sure was. It's sitting on its trailering tires in that pic but imagine it rust-free, freshly waxed and on the 42 Swampers (Slim got those too..:toothless). But that is what almost 8 years of mud competition will do to Ford steel..I'll bet the bed is so light that two strong fellers could lift it off without help..that paint is all that's left..LOL

and lost it to stupidity. I seriously dream about it all the time. :cry

Thanks bro! I'm not real educated on those longs? I alwways thought they were crazy expensive???? And I've got several friends that have had great luck with the yukons!
Im sure you'll be happy with you're new upgrades Slim. What does you're donor truck have for a front axle?
The donor is sportin an 8 lug d44.
