Hey i finally got a tach in my truck for xmas, but id kinda like to know what the redline is. the e4od shift point is 4500 so i figured the redline is 5 or 55. let me know plewase, im curiuos about it now.

I wouldn't push a stock motor past 5300-5500 depending on condition.
Actually there's no reason at all to rev a bronco's engine that high because by 4500 you're done making power anyway.

i've inadvertently had mine up to 5500-ish (maybe a little higher?) while backing out of a irrigation ditch in 4-lo. It scared the bejezus out of me when i turned around and saw that the tach was almost tacked out....

puss's. I have reved my fresh 400 to 6500rpms. 2wd when I was stuck. my front and rear gears did not match if I remember correctly.
