Hey All!
After reading the tech write up on remote tranny filters I decided to install one. Instead of spending 40+ dollars on one I got a factory remote engine oil setup off a late 80's 4.3L S-10 4x4, cut the tubes off flush then drilled and tapped the holes. Can I assume this can be used as a tranny filter on my 95? Since this was designed for engine oil, my concerns were the pressure and if the little bypass valve in the housing would be affected. I understand filter should be placed after cooler, which line would be "IN" to the filter? Kinda confusing under there, lines go from trans to radiator then to small square cooler in front of radiator, don't know which is in or out. Thanks for any help!
