Im just getting back to Fords, have an S-10 Blazer now... I know quite a bit about Chevys, now I need to "graduate" to Fords. :duh

With GM products, they have RPO (Regular Production Options) codes, three alpha-numeric characters that are a code for an option. A sheet is stuck to the inside of the glove box that has all the RPO codes for that vehicle. An 'LB4' indicates it came with a 4.3L V6, etc.. etc.. etc..

Is there anything like that for the Ford line? (Forgive my ignorance) I want to see what gears are in this truck I just bought.

TIA!!

But, after I find the codes, where do I go to look them up??

TIA,
Andrew

Haynes doesn't decode the safety certification sticker - it just identifies the fields, like this picture. This site has some of the codes, and I have most of the rest. If you don't find them there, post back or e-mail me.
