I'm readying my floor for Herculiner, and I'm filling any unneeded holes, which there are plenty of. The seats that were in the Bronco when I bought it are apparently from a pickup, as they slide rather than tilt, and they dont slide forward enough back to get in the back comfortably. My question is, does anyone know if the tilt-type brackets from later Broncos will bolt in the same places as the 78-79 brackets? I have yet to see a 78-79 Broncos at any junkyard, but plenty of the later ones.

I don't believe the 80-up Bronco seat brackets will fit the 78/79 floor. While the 78/79 floor is flat where the brackets bolt to, the 80-up floor is contoured along with the seat brackets for bucket seats or Captain's chairs. Later-model bench seats from the F-series trucks will work, however. JSM84
