Mysteriously turned into one of these this weekend :D

I know these things are a love em or hate em kinda thing. I like the way they ones look with the recessed lighting (moon visor) so I figure I'd clean it up, prepsolve it, and paint it...Just gotta find a color that matches my truck since it's faded...

Anyway, I was excited and thought I'd share :D

I have one and love it as well. Whoever installed it did a hack job though. They duct-taped all the wiring to the lights on the underside of the visor. I figured Id get around to fixing it when a bulb or two went out. Before that could happen, in the middle of a massive snow storm last year, snow got packed unp under the visor. So, I put my wipers on to clear the windshield snow, and it knocked down a piece of ice which was attached to all the wiring. Now a couple of the bulb sockets have broken tabs and are currently just sitting, swaying around on top of my roof. I dont know if you can buy new 194 lightbulb sockets for the Lund visors, as it really hasnt bother me until this thread, right now.

I would love to have a visor on mine. That thing looks awesome. I can never find one though.

Sweet find for fidy bucks.

I have a visor as well. Just haven't gotten around to putting it in, main reason being is that I'm afraid to drill holes into my roof/put screws in it.

Gonna do a writeup for it?

Well, I gave the color code to Napa and they had the match to my trucks color so I picked up 3 cans of it... More to come. We're getting Tropical Storm crap here today, so I can't do much, but I might go sand it with some 300 Grit and clean it up and prep it to paint tomorrow. I'm probably (if my wife would stop taking me damn shopping) going to paint the topper too. I was thinking about sanding it smooth, and painting it to match, but I don't konw about that now. I might paint it black or charcoal gray... I dunno
