Hey all,

I'm selling off a D44 and there's two broken wheel studs which I've removed already and it needs new lockouts. Would I be better off replacing those wheel studs and lockouts (junkyard units) or would it be a waste of time/money to do? Would those items stop you from buying the axle or affect the price much? The axle is most likely going to be bought by someone who plans on going through the whole axle anyways.

Thanks,
Dustin

put in new studs, and leave it minus the lockouts.

buyer will probably change the lockouts anyways, but may tink the damaged studs may be from bad handling.

Went to my usual yard yesterday and pulled off a Warn lockout, wheel hub (was dented) and wheel studs for $6 so I'm set there, no biggie. Put together one good lockout from both of the existing ones.
